Job Description
Position: Arabic Language Teacher (ADEK Approved)
Location: Al Ain
Salary: TBD + Benefits (as per UAE Labor Law)
A well-reputed school in Al Ain is seeking a dedicated and qualified Arabic Language Teacher to join its academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Arabic language instruction, promoting a deep understanding of Arabic literature, grammar, and communication, while nurturing a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver effective Arabic language lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and ADEK guidelines.
• Language Development: Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and spoken Arabic to help students achieve fluency.
• Cultural Integration: Incorporate Arabic culture, history, and traditions into lessons to enhance student understanding and appreciation.
• Student Engagement: Use interactive and student-centered teaching strategies such as storytelling, role-playing, and group work.
• Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student progress through quizzes, written assignments, and oral presentations; provide constructive feedback.
• Parental Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents to discuss student performance and development.
• Behavior Management: Foster a respectful, inclusive, and well-disciplined classroom environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with school leadership and colleagues to support holistic student development.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all ADEK educational standards and school policies.
RequirementsRequirements:
• Experience: 1–3 years of teaching experience in Arabic language instruction.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Language: Native or near-native fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English is an advantage.
• ADEK Approval: ADEK approval or appointment letter (preferred).
• Skills:
• Strong command of Arabic language and grammar
• Effective lesson planning and classroom management
• Culturally responsive teaching approach
