Job Description
As the Assistant Manager – Credit Administration, you will oversee the day-to-day operations related to credit administration for Wholesale Banking, Treasury, and Financial Institution (FI) portfolios. This includes managing documentation processes (including syndication and agency desk documentation), limit maintenance, and ensuring seamless disbursement operations. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Wholesale Banking, Treasury, and Financial Institutions. The role reports to the Senior Vice President & Head of Wholesale Banking Operations.
What you’ll be doing
• Lead and manage multiple processes related to credit administration, documentation, and disbursements.
• Prepare and vet facility documentation, including syndication documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Handle the syndication and agency desk with a focus on zero delays, zero complaints, and zero errors.
• Maintain a strong understanding of both Islamic and Conventional Wholesale Banking products.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance service delivery.
• Foster a culture of cross-skilling, adaptability, and continuous learning within the team.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks through proactive risk management strategies.
• Leverage technology to automate and streamline processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing errors.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in Risk Management or Finance is preferred.
Experience: 5 – 8 years of experience in credit operations, risk management, or a related function within the banking or financial services industry.
Industry Exposure: Strong exposure to Wholesale Banking operations, including credit administration, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with both Islamic and Conventional banking products is essential.
