Job Description

This rolewill lead the operational execution of the Company s global tax strategy,ensuring an efficient and compliant tax environment across the Company. This role plans and directs all aspects of the Company s tax compliance / filing and financial reporting.

As a senior member of the tax team, this role ensures compliance with evolving international tax regulations, manages tax risks while enabling operational efficiency according to international standards. This position is critical to supportArcera s rapid global expansion and commitment to sustainable and ethical business practices within the Global Tax / Finance department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Global Tax Compliance and Reporting

Design and streamlineArcera s global tax operational processes, ensuring simplification, process efficiency, and transparency, using technology as an enabler.

Integrate all Arcera legal entities under aunified global tax policy and framework, ensuring alignment withinternational and domestic tax standards.

Oversightof tax accounting and statutory tax reporting, in collaboration with local finance teams. This should include quarterly provisioning and the use of standardized processes (or software, if possible) across the different jurisdictionsArcera operates in.

Risk Management and Governance

Proactively identify,assess and communicatetax risks, and discuss mitigating actions, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.

Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in relevant jurisdictions and evaluate potential business impacts.

Establish and maintain internal Tax ComplianceControl Frameworks and RACI charts for tax-related processes.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, law or a related field and a master s degree in internationaltax is preferred.

10+ years of global tax experience in multinational environments with life sciences experience. ABig Four background is preferred.

Strong leadership capabilities / proven experience managing multicultural teams.

Deep understanding of international tax frameworks, tax reporting requirements and tax compliance governance.

Desired experience with ERP systems, automation tools, and data analytics platforms.

Operate effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and purpose-driven organization.

Fluent in English; proficiency in another language of the countries in which Arcera operate is advantageous.
