Job Description
A CNC Machinist plays a crucial role in the manufacturing industry by operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision metal and plastic parts. This highly skilled position requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work with various types of programming languages. CNC Machinists are responsible for setting up machines, monitoring the production process, inspecting finished products, and making necessary adjustments to ensure quality output. The role demands physical stamina, technical expertise, and the ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering or manufacturing, proven experience with CNC machinery, and a commitment to adhering to safety standards and production timelines.

Responsibilities
Set up CNC machines to prepare for production operations and runs.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation accurately.
Program CNC machines using G-code or other relevant programming languages.
Conduct routine inspections on machines to ensure proper functioning before use.
Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain output quality.
Perform regular maintenance tasks according to machinery specifications and schedules.
Inspect finished products for accuracy, ensuring they meet specified tolerances.
Document and track production activities and perform quality checks continuously.
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Continuously improve processes to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
Train and mentor junior machinists and machine operators on best practices.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in manufacturing.
Strong understanding of CNC machinery, programming languages, and tooling.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with quality inspection and precision measuring tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all tasks.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy machinery parts safely.
Commitment to adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
