Job Description

Location: DMCC, Dubai, UAE Experience: Minimum 5+ Years Industry: Commodities Trading (Agri/Metals/Energy) Function: Trade Execution, Trade Finance, Market Analysis We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commodity Trader with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to join our trading desk at Shrivi DMCC, Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, executing, and closing profitable commodity trades with a deep understanding of trade finance (TRAFER), global market trends, and risk evaluation.Identify and develop trading opportunities across target commodity markets (agriculture/metals/energy).Manage end-to-end trading operations: procurement, sales, shipping logistics, and documentation.Leverage strong knowledge in TRAFER – Trade Finance & Risk Evaluation – to structure secure, profitable trades.Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, banks, shipping agents, and inspection agencies.Analyze global commodity markets, monitor price trends, and prepare actionable market intelligence.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and DMCC operational standards.Coordinate with finance teams for LC (Letter of Credit), bank guarantees, and payment settlements.Mitigate trade risks through hedging strategies and due diligence.Maintain accurate records of trades, shipments, and financials in ERP systems.Represent Company in international commodity trading events and networking opportunities.Minimum 5 years of proven experience in commodity trading (mandatory).Strong exposure to TRAFER, trade finance mechanisms, and risk evaluation.Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.Solid understanding of international shipping and Incoterms.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP trading platforms, and data analytics tools.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)., Naukrigulf, Sparkpoint FZCO
