Governance Section Head2 . Role Purpose Develop, review, and oversee the implementation of corporate policies that align with the DCT’s strategic objectives. Ensure regulatory compliance, enhance governance frameworks, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the organization.
3. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement corporate policies and frameworks in alignment with the DCT’s strategic direction, long term vision, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct policy impact assessments and provide recommendations to senior leadership in alignment with DCT’s Strategic objectives.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, HR, and finance teams, to ensure seamless policy integration.

Drive policy awareness training sessions, and communication initiatives to promote adherence across the organization.

Prepare and deliver policy briefings, submissions, presentations and reports to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, while advocating for policy initiatives within and outside the organization.

Develop reporting mechanisms to track policy compliance, effectiveness, and areas for improvement.

Keep DCT policies up to date and coordinate the entire policy lifecycle, from development through approval to implementation of corporate policies across departments.

Shared Activities Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager.o Ensure effective implementation of functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned section activity so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.o Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.o

Demonstrate compliance to organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
4. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate policy development, governance, or regulatory affairs.

Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles, risk management, and compliance standards.

Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.

Strong understanding of UAE legislative and regulatory frameworks impacting corporate operations.

Experience in a strategic affairs or public policy environment is preferred.

Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
