Job Description
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Travel, Tourism & Hospitality > Hospitality accounting or cost control certification proven experience in a similar role within Travel, Tourism & Hospitality > Hospitality or hotel operations
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, cost accounting, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hotel ERP systems (e.g., Sun, Birch Street, and OnQ)
• Ability to analyze large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections
• Strong problem solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate
• Ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Additional Preferences:
• Relevant experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
