Job Description
As a CT/MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in a medical setting, responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. Your expertise will help physicians diagnose and treat patients effectively by providing clear and precise images. You will work closely with radiologists, medical professionals, and patients to ensure a seamless experience. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy, excellent technical skills, and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients who may be anxious or in discomfort. You will be expected to adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain the highest standards of patient confidentiality and care.

Responsibilities
Operate CT and MRI equipment to capture precise images as per physician orders.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
Coordinate with radiologists to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
Review and evaluate images for quality and accuracy, retaking unclear images as necessary.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure efficient and accurate operation.
Document patient information and imaging details accurately in medical records.
Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Assist in scheduling patient appointments and managing workflow in the imaging department.
Provide patients and their families with information about the procedure and address concerns.
Maintain professional development through continual education in imaging technologies.
Collaborate with medical teams to optimize patient care and imaging processes.
Stay updated on industry standards and integrate best practices in imaging techniques.

Requirements
Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably with MRI and CT imaging.
Strong understanding of imaging technology, anatomy, and physiology.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines diligently.
