Responsibilities

Analyze nutritional needs based on individual health conditions and goals.
Develop personalized nutrition plans for various dietary requirements and preferences.
Educate clients about the importance of food choices and nutrition.
Monitor progress regularly and adjust dietary plans as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
Conduct nutritional assessments using evidence-based methods and tools.
Stay updated with current research and dietary guidelines in nutrition science.
Provide counseling sessions to support behavior change and motivation.
Document patient information accurately, maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
Address clients food allergies by advising suitable dietary modifications.
Use analytical skills to evaluate and recommend new nutritional products.
Participate in community outreach programs to promote healthy eating habits.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related health field.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license required.
Proven work experience as a Dietician in clinical settings.
Strong understanding of current dietary guidelines and medical nutrition therapy.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex information simply.
Capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Proficiency in dietary software and maintaining electronic health records.
