Job Description
Natural Gas Trading Professional
This is a high-growth opportunity to work at the heart of the region’s energy hub, with access to global LNG, pipeline gas, and derivatives markets.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience trading natural gas, ideally in a trading house, energy company, or investment bank.
A solid understanding of regional and global gas markets, LNG flows, and infrastructure dynamics is essential for success in this role.
Key responsibilities include market trading and strategy, deal origination and execution, risk and position management, and cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will be able to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities, manage market exposure using hedging strategies, and maintain trading books and monitor P&L.
Familiarity with risk management tools, pricing mechanisms, and exchange platforms is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will be driven, entrepreneurial, and able to work under pressure to make fast, informed decisions.
Job Requirements:
5+ years of experience trading natural gas (physical or paper)Solid understanding of regional and global gas markets, LNG flows, and infrastructure dynamicsProven P&L track record and ability to identify and capitalize on trading opportunitiesFamiliarity with risk management tools, pricing mechanisms, and exchange platformsExcellent negotiation, relationship-building, and analytical skillsExposure to MENA, European, or Asian gas markets is highly desirable
