Job Description

Job Title: Environmental Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Environmental Manager to join our team at WSP in the Middle East. As an Environmental Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing project capture and delivery, ensuring technical quality, and adherence to schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Health & Safety – Oversight of health, safety, and wellbeing of staff within your discipline.
• Business Development – Support sector leads and drive business development within your discipline. Liaise with internal and external clients.
• Commercial – Track and review the commercial performance to meet KPIs. Report to the Environment Advisory and P&L Director.
• Operations – Ensure your discipline collaborates with other teams, including overseeing weekly resourcing, supporting team integration, maintaining communication, and providing technical support on projects.
• People Management – Conduct regular team meetings, mentor staff, and support career development.

Requirements:
• BSc and MSc in relevant environmental or engineering discipline.
• Membership of a professional body (e.g., IEMA) and preferably chartered status.
• 8-10+ years managing large, complex environmental projects.
• Experience in an international consultancy.
• Experience in air dispersion or noise modeling is advantageous.
• Ability to work across disciplines with a flexible approach.
• Proven ability to provide technical solutions and report writing skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong project, time, and financial management skills.
• Collaborative, outcome-driven mindset.
