Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fashion Buyer to join our in-house team. The successful candidate will be responsible for physically selecting and curating products from our existing inventory to be sold in our online and retail stores, analyzing market trends and customer data to inform purchasing decisions, and managing the product selection process from start to finish.ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify trends in the fashion industry to inform purchasing decisionsReview and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform product selection and buying decisionsSelect and curate a range of fashion products from our existing inventory to be sold on in our retail store and onlineCollaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and product launchesForecast sales and manage inventory to ensure an optimal product mix and minimize excess inventoryContinuously review and assess the performance of products, making adjustments to the selection as neededEnsure proper pricing for all products specific to the eCommerce strategyWork with eCommerce team to ensure proper flow of product to eCommerce websites in support of the category/brand visionLiaising with the team to ensure the product offered is right for our customers and supports our business objectivesUpdate website merchandising to accurately reflect both eCommerce and Concept Retail sales, trends and initiativesRequirementsMust be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field3+ years of experience in fashion buying, preferably in an eCommerce or online retail environmentStrong analytical skills and experience using data to inform purchasing decisionsExcellent organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with retail software systems is a plusPassion for fashion and a strong understanding of current trendsSpecific knowledge in footwear trends and brands preferableMust be driven to excel and succeed, taking full ownership for his or her successSuperior communication skills; able to communicate persuasively, influentially and responsibly across a broad spectrum of stakeholders, Dubai Job Center, Fresh Start FZE
