The role of a Finance Executive in the Real Estate sector is pivotal for ensuring the financial well-being and strategic financial planning of the organization. As a Finance Executive, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of real estate projects, from planning and analysis to execution and reporting. You will be working closely with the project’s stakeholders, including developers, contractors, investors, and legal advisors, to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. The role requires you to possess strong analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of real estate financial modeling, and proficiency in regulatory and legal aspects related to finance in real estate. Moreover, your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members and senior management will be essential in driving financial decisions that align with the company’s objectives and growth strategies.
Responsibilities
Prepare and oversee financial models for real estate development projects and investments.
Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic planning and project decisions.
Monitor cash flows and manage capital requirements for real estate projects effectively.
Collaborate with legal and project management teams on financial compliance issues.
Develop budgets and financial forecasts for current and prospective projects.
Analyze and report financial performance to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure all financial operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Evaluate potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Liaise with investors to provide updates and reports on financial performance.
Participate in negotiations for financing arrangements and investment opportunities.
Review and refine financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Lead and manage the finance team in daily operations and long-term planning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
At least five years of experience in financial management within real estate.
Strong understanding of financial modeling and cost management.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to financial details.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills for stakeholder interactions.
