A Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Engineer is required to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of employees, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collate, analyze, and submit contractor data in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports/statistics on behalf of the client.
• Lead by example, demonstrating safe personal behavior and representing the organization on project sites.
• Ensure supervisory consultant and contractor key deliverables are prepared, reviewed, approved, and implemented as necessary.
• Follow up with HSE managers/engineers and contractors’ HSE managers for pending close-out actions of SOR, abnormal events, audits & compliance inspections.
• Conduct monthly office assessments (office inspection & office risk assessment).
• Conduct HSE assurance activities, including inspections, verification of close-out by contractors.
• Document reviews, support, and conduct HSE audits as required.
• Organize, attend HSE contractor meetings, present, and prepare minutes of the meeting.
• Arrange and deliver HSE orientation for new employees and visitors.
• Conduct or support HSE awareness training for Parsons, contractor, and client as required.
• Support incident investigations as required.
• Review information on first aid cases, near misses, injuries, damages, and losses and review overall HSE performance during project execution.
• Liaise with client representatives as required on all HSE matters in a professional and responsible manner.
• Be flexible in working schedules to ensure adequate HSE cover during shift and weekend working.
