Job Description
Job Overview Learning Assistant Kings School Al Barsha is seeking a highly motivated Learning Assistant to join our celebrated school from August 2025. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, setting high expectations for pupils within a bespoke classroom. They will produce a language rich and exciting environment for pupils to make progress with a high focus on communication and interaction skills, social skills and emotional regulation. Qualifications Key Requirements and Attributes: Holds a minimum high school qualification British Primary School trained Teaching Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience Must have experience of working in EYFS and/or Primary Ability to support the delivery of an adapted curriculum to meet the needs of the children Ability to deliver creative learning activities Ability to support creative learning environments Ability to support the implementation of Education Plans A clear personal philosophy of education Effective interpersonal and communication skills Ability to understand and interpret the root causes of a range of challenging behaviors and to support the implementation of effective behavior management strategies An excellent understanding of how to teach the acquisition of early phonics and mathematical skills Must be sponsored by family/spouse or hold a golden visa for the position** Other Qualities A deep and passionate commitment to the values and ethos of Kings Education The ability to motivate, enthuse and engage with children and adults Energy, vigour, perseverance, stamina and resilience A demonstrable commitment to a robust culture of high expectations and quality care The ability to challenge and improve performance Can do attitude A passionate drive to continue to research and develop practice in Education, Naukrigulf, TES FE News
