Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Be familiar with general industry standards of service of both food and beverages
• Always transport food and beverage items in a way that will not compromise their quality or presentation, and in accordance with the prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Always have a kind, pleasant and helpful attitude and nature, exceed expectations of guests/vendors and always smile
• Assisting with the preparation and issuance of the daily requisitions (loading, packing, wrapping, labelling, shipping)
• Receiving & processing warehouse stock products (picking, unloading, labeling and storing)
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• General assistance as required by the supervisors & management staff
• Daily transportation and issuance of various food items and stationery items as per the requisition to various branches as per the roaster.
• Unloading and unloading of the requisition items as and when required
• Reporting of spoilage of wastage of any requisition items due to any reasons.
• Emergency requisition transportation as and when required for the business.
• At all times you are expected to promote the Company and distribute menus, flyers and promotional material to all potential customers, and in buildings, villas and compounds as requested or directed by the Store Manager, Supervisor, Dispatcher or Senior Team member on Duty
• Always handle Company assets and all equipment with utmost care and maintain them in the best working condition
• Always keep your assigned vehicle clean and tidy at all times
• To abide by the traffic laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the UAE and to avoid incurring traffic violations, penalties and fines
• To ensure that your assigned vehicles registration papers are available, and up to date
• To ensure that your assigned vehicle is working correctly and has sufficient petrol at the beginning and end of your shift
• To report any equipment failures/problems to the Branch Manager or Supervisor/Dispatcher on duty, as soon as any issue is noticed
• To communicate any maintenance requests to the Branch Manager or Supervisor/Dispatcher on duty as soon as possible
• Ensure that the Company Policies and Procedures, as well as respective Standard OperatingProcedures are followed and adhered to at all times
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming, including full and clean uniformand overall clean and tidy appearance, as detailed in the Employee Handbook
• Follow Company timekeeping procedures with respect to your assigned duty and shift timing
• Maintain a good relationship with colleagues, on and off duty, and do not engage in any formof bullying, pestering or aggressive confrontation (verbal or physical) with any colleague (asper Company Policy)
• Attend departmental meetings as requested or required
• Attend to any reasonable request of the Branch Manager or Supervisor on duty
• Always conduct yourself in a professional and honest manner, as you are an ambassador ofthe Company and you represent the restaurant to all our guests and the wider community
• Be familiar with Abu Dhabi emergency services numbers and procedures in case of anyaccident or emergency

Confidentiality & Ethics
• Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Confidentiality policy and Third Party Non-Solicitation policy which prohibits the sharing or discussion of sensitive information and theearning of fees through third party channels not connected with the Company;
• Protection of the Company at all times in relation to informational databases, IP, secrets andstrategy, as well as sensitive information, all of which may not be discussed with anyunauthorised person
• Ensure all sensitive client and Company information remains confidential and ensure thisculture is built across the Branch
• Ensure any unethical behaviour of any team member is quickly brought to the attention ofSenior Management, so that it may be appropriately addressed.

Pre-requisites
• Associate degree in related field
• 2 years of experience in hotels/restaurants/customer service – preferred

Character requirements

-Pleasing Personality: positive, cheerful demeanor

-Ability to communicate, read and write comfortably in English

-Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills

-Ability to handle significant stress and pressure

-To uphold and promote the values and objectives of Pizza Di Rocco and promote them at all times

-To always conduct themselves in a professional manner

-Physically fit and able to stand and walk during the full shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED2,750.00 per month, Indeed, Quest Restaurants Management LLC
