About Silver Links Silver Links is a key player in the international connectivity space within the Axian Telecom Group, managing wholesale services and carrier relations across global markets. Based in Dubai, we serve as the group’s hub for innovation and excellence in international voice, data, and messaging solutions.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations / Technical Lead to join our team and play a critical role in driving the strategic and technical direction of our network services across the Axian footprint.

Your Mission As Head of Operations / Technical Lead, you will:

Drive the design, deployment, and evolution of Silver Links’ technical infrastructure (Voice, SMS, Data).Oversee network operations, including service platforms, NOC, performance, and international interconnectivity.

Lead technical aspects of service delivery, customer care, and pre-sales engineering support.

Support strategic growth through innovation in roaming, A2P messaging, submarine cable usage, and cloud services.

Ensure alignment with the group’s technology roadmap and contribute to commercial success.

Key Responsibilities Define and execute technical strategies and architecture for Silver Links services.

Manage and optimize international voice, signaling, messaging, and data platforms.

Coordinate cross-functional technical teams and vendor relationships.

Oversee implementation of centralized roaming and messaging platforms.

Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

Proactively support fraud prevention, monitoring systems, and service quality improvement.

Collaborate closely with commercial teams and contribute to strategic client engagements.

Lead the technical input for partner onboarding, interconnect setup, and new service rollouts.

Provide transparent reporting on KPIs and network performance to leadership.

What We’re Looking For

Education:

Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.

Additional certifications in Project Management or Business Administration are a plus.

Experience:

8+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including international carrier business.

At least 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.

Proven experience in network planning, service deployment, and technical operations.

Familiarity with submarine cables, IP/MPLS, OTN, SDH, and WDM technologies. Skills:

Strong knowledge of international voice, messaging, and roaming platforms.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams.

Business-minded, proactive, and tech-savvy.

Languages:

Fluent in English (required).Working knowledge of French is a plus.
