Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a resourceful and detail-driven Procurement & Accountant Officer to join our UAE office. This role combines procurement, general accounting, office management, and cross-border coordination. The successful candidate will take full ownership of daily operations in Dubai — including visas, payroll, compliance, and banking — while supporting coordination with affiliated companies in Tanzania, operating across the printing, logistics, and real estate sectors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment and demonstrates strong cross-border communication and execution skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance
Oversee daily accounting tasks: bookkeeping, AP/AR, reconciliations, petty cash.
Generate monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for UAE staff.
Manage VAT submissions, tax compliance, and liaison with authorities (e.g., FTA).
Support audit preparation and collaborate with external auditors/accountants.
Maintain and reconcile company bank accounts, process payments, and ensure proper documentation.
Procurement
Source and manage relationships with local and international vendors.
Manage procurement requests, purchase orders, quotations, and inventory tracking.
Negotiate favorable pricing and contract terms to optimize cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with Tanzanian teams for joint procurement planning and supplier sourcing.
Office & Operations Management (Dubai)
Take full responsibility for Dubai office operations, ensuring all administrative and operational needs are met.
Manage visa applications, renewals, labor contracts, and government portal submissions (MOHRE, ICP, etc.).
Ensure compliance with all UAE legal and regulatory requirements for the company.
Handle utility bills, insurance renewals, office supplies, facility management, and lease coordination.
Liaise with banks for account management, documentation updates, and transaction execution.
