Job descriptionACSME Gas & Process Aftermarket is responsible for providing support to all our customers in the MENA Region and Africa.We currently have an opening for a Repair Center Engineer covering our valuable customers in MEA and Pakistan.In this exciting and challenging role, you will be part of a dynamic service team dedicated to providing world class customer service. Primary responsibility will be providing our customers world class repairs in a professional and prompt manner to meet their requirements for Aftermarket repairs.Responsibilities:Work under the directions of the repair center supervisor to understand the dynamics of GAS repairs business and perform hands on tasks assigned.Keep tracking of all workshop related documents, reports, tool lists, calibration certificates, etc.To follow up quality of work standards together with the potential vendors for our outsourced activities.Liaison with our vendors for external repairsAccomplish workshop repairs / overhauls as specified in the work orderCoordinate with service planner for repairs schedulesProvide a timely and accurate feedback about the work progress to supervisorCompile risk assessments and method statements if requested by the customerSubmit comprehensive repair reports in a timely manner after task completionProvide supporting documents along with the repair report, updated drawings, actual clearance tables, etc.Carrying out Electrical Run Out/Mechanical Run Out.Ensure to report and record all the repairs on CRMComply with the quality standard ISO 9001:2008 of the product companies (OEM)Adhere to ACSME safety and environmental policiesPerform assigned duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer. Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done in a timely manner and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessaryComplete any additional tasks assigned by supervisorWork at customer site for overhaul and troubleshooting as and when needed. To succeed, you will need Experience requirementsMechanical, electrical/electronic or instrumentation & controls degreeor relevant technical knowledge / trade qualificationsMinimum 5 to 7 years of proven experience with rotating equipment and turbo machinery maintenance activities.Solid experience within GAS equipment’s such as centrifugal compressors and Turbo expanders Maintenance activitiesProven track record of delivering perfectional resultsKnowledgeFluent in English (Arabic is a plus)Familiar with Microsoft Office products, particularly with Word and ExcelKnowledge with CRM platformsEducational requirementsBS/BE in Mechanical or Electrical fieldPersonality requirementsAbility to work independently and also as a team playerSelf-motivated, self-confident and dynamic personExcellent interpersonal skillsHighly flexible and willing to adapt working time to business requirementsOverall willingness to do what it takes, Naukrigulf, Atlas Copco Services Middle East SPC
