Job Description

As a Business Development Manager specializing in 3PL services – Space selling, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our business. Leveraging your expertise in logistics and sales, you will identify and pursue strategic opportunities to acquire new clients and develop existing accounts. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can effectively communicate our value proposition, build strong relationships, and deliver tailored solutions to meet our clients’ needs.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accountsMeet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the departmentConduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue generating businessIdentify potential customers and with focus on high volume and profitable business with expertise in deep sale process and relentlessly pursue realization of such opportunities leading to revenue for the company via monthly handling & storage forecast.Based on customers’ requirement advising the best options for the cost effective & efficient planning for logistics with tailor-made solution to the customers.Regularly visit existing 3PL customers validating our service levels and develop new revenue streamsMaintain records of sales visits made during the month and prepare business revenue forecast.Negotiate with the rental contracts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional mannerSupport Customer Service and work closely with Operations and Documentation team on the execution of customer service contracts / KPI’s.Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department salesAssimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings and review customer profitability.Follow up with clients for Account receivable outstanding supported by the Finance Controller.Qualification:Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized university.Supply chain /Logistics management specialization.Experience required:5-10 years of experience in 3PL Business Development in a large or medium business organization.Experience in various functions of Logistics Management & Warehouse Management.UAE Driving License + Own Car, Naukrigulf, Jumbo Electronic Co. Ltd ( LLC )
