SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT
Job description
We are seeking a Senior Travel Consultant with deep expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences. In this role, you will manage complex, high-volume travel arrangements, provide expert destination and itinerary advice, and ensure an outstanding client experience. You will also support the development of junior team members and help drive our sales and service goals.
Responsibilities:
• Provide full-service travel planning for both corporate and leisure clients, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, tours, and travel insurance.
• Manage all aspects of booking and reservation systems using GDS platforms (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre).
• Offer expert advice on global destinations, visa requirements, and travel regulations.
• Handle ticket issuance, reissuance, refunds, and BSP settlement with strong IATA ticketing knowledge.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through outstanding customer service and clear, proactive communication.
• Stay informed on travel industry trends, airline policy updates, and market developments.
• Quickly resolve client issues or disruptions with professionalism and care.
• Assist in onboarding, mentoring, and training junior consultants.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications:
• Currently based in the UAE
• Extensive experience with IATA ticketing: issuance, reissuance, refunds, and BSP.
• Proficiency in GDS systems: Amadeus, Galileo, and/or Sabre.
• In-depth knowledge of international destinations, flight routing, fare construction, and travel products.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Able to perform under pressure, handle emergencies, and work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible availability to support after-hours or urgent travel needs.
• Multilingual fluency is highly preferred and advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
