About the Role The role involves offering technical support, nurturing business opportunities, and maintaining high-level relationships with key customers in the poultry industry.
Responsibilities Offer technical support, in conjunction with relevant technical support teams, related to product performance, at key accounts and channel partners.
Work with regional Account Managers to grow existing business, and nurture new opportunities, and actively participate in the sales process.
Supervise customer and distributor poultry trials, visit research facilities, and deliver detailed analyses of trial results.
Maintain high-level relationships with key customers and influencers, especially nutritionists and vets.
Investigate customer complaints and resolve industry issues on-site, including product applications and marketing efforts.
Engage in professional trade associations and committees related to the poultry industry.
Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for gastrointestinal health products and services and equip distributors through value messaging against competitors.
Work with Account managers to create annual account plans for key customers and channel partners for their long-term growth and ensure direction is in alignment with global marketing able to represent Novonesis on industry forums and be the voice of our solutions in trade shows and conferences, when needed.
Qualifications Masters’ or PhD in Animal Science, poultry nutrition, or related field.
Experience in working with poultry nutrition, health, and production of poultry nutrition products. Understanding and experience in feed formulations involving probiotics and enzymes will be an advantage.
Have over 5-9 years’ experience in poultry health and nutrition, with a solid understanding of application and product formulations.
Required Skills Strong drive, responsible, goal-oriented, well organized, and self-motivated, being able to develop regions independently.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office software (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).Willingness to travel ~50% of the time primarily in the assigned region when required.
Preferred Skills Deep knowledge of the Poultry Health industry in North Africa and the Middle East.
Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking with a strong affinity to value creation.
Ability to network in the industry and be able to present in external forums.
Good presentation skills to communicate both internally and externally.
